If it is necessary to use network disks for working with archive in Axxon PSIM™ PSIM that is installed as a Service you should add them by setting UNC path, the following way:

If Axxon PSIM™ PSIM is installed as a Service on Windows XP OS, it is impossible to record on network disks.

Recording on network disks in Axxon PSIM™ PSIM installed as a Service is performed only in case when Axxon PSIM™ PSIM is started under some user (not under SYSTEM) and the user is logged in the system. When the user who belongs to the Axxon PSIMUsers PSIM Users group logs in the system, Axxon PSIM™ PSIM is restarted automatically on behalf of this user. Both network disks and UNC path are available for recording. If the user logs off the system,  Axxon PSIM™ Axxon PSIM will restart under system account and all network disks are unavailable.
