If detection tools use GPU for video decoding (see Configuring detection tools), make sure the following hardware requirements are met:
For NVIDIA graphics cardsGPUs:
- CUDA 11.1 − 111−11.4.
- Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see here).
Compute Capability 3.5 − 85−8.6.
Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see here)Note title Attention! title Note- CUDA is compatible with generations of computers with the following architectures: Kepler (partially), Maxwell, Pascal, Volta, Turing, Ampere (partially) (see CUDA).
Info title Attention!- You can check Compute Capability GPU version on the manufacturer's website.
Note - When using NVIDIA
- GPUs, it is recommended to install the latest driver from the official website
- .
Note title Attention!- Video can be decoded on two NVIDIA GPUs at a time.
For the integrated Intel GPUs:
6th generation CPU or higher.
Support for the required codec in Quick Sync Video.
