Switching to layout editing mode

The Web Board allows users you to view a selected Web specific web page in on the tilelayout.

Starting with Axxon One VMS shows Web pages in Internet Explorer 2.0, web pages in the Axxon One interface are displayed via Chromium browser. When upgrading from Axxon One 1.9 to Axxon One 2.0, the Internet Explorer engine will automatically be replaced by the Chromium engine.

To configure the Web Board:

  1. Add an information board to the layout (see Adding information boards to cells).

  2. In the upper-right corner, click the button.

  3. Enter the name of the Web Board or select it from the list (1).
  4. To allow the operators to hide the information board, select the set the Allow hiding panel check box (12).

  5. Select the web page output: Internet Explorer Chromium or Gecko (23).

  6. Enter the address in the URL field (34).

  7. Click the Apply button to save changes (4)To save the changes, click the Apply button. To discard the changes, click the Cancel button.

Configuration of the Web Board is complete. The specified page will be displayed on the Web Board.
