The Hikvision door configuration options depend on the Hikvision controller/terminal model. The Hikvision door configuration will be illustrated by an example of the Hikvision 26X controller. Door configuration for other Hikvision controllers is similar.

You can To configure the Hikvision door as follows, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the Hikvision 26X Door object that is created on the basis of the Hikvision 26X object.

  2. In From the Number drop-down list (1), you see , select the number corresponding to the door ID number assigned by the Hikvision  controller. You can not change this value.number in the Hikvision controller.

  3. In the Door Namename field (2), you can set , enter the name of the door under which it will further appear in the ACFA PSIM integration module.
  4. Select a door's default state from the Door Magnetic drop-down list (3): Normal Closed for normally closed or Normal Opened for normally open.
  5. Select a push-to-exit button type from the Exit button type (4) drop-down list: Normal Closed for normally closed or Normal Opened for normally open.
  6. In the Unlock Time (5) field, you can set a time interval after which the door will be automatically re-locked.
  7. that will be displayed in ACFA PSIM during further readings of the Hikvision controller configuration.
  8. From the Door magnetic drop-down list, select which door state is a normal state: closedNormal Closed (default) or openNormal Opened.

  9. From the Exit button type drop-down list, select the exit button type: normally closedNormal Closed (default) or normally openNormal Opened.
  10. In the Unlock time field, enter the time in seconds after which the unlocked door will be locked again.
  11. In the Unlock time for disabled pass field, enter the time In the Unlock Time for Disabled Pass field (6), you can set a time interval during which the door will be opened for any users who have the Disabled card holdertype.
  12. In the Unlock Timeout timeout Alarm field (7), you can set a time interval after which an alarm is , enter the time in seconds after which an alarm will be initiated if the door is still openwasn't closed.
  13. In the Duress Codecode field (8), you can set a code to be applied when accessing the door under duress. This code opens the door while triggering the duress alarm, enter the duress code for opening the door by an employee under duress. The duress alarm will be initiated. The duress code consists must consist of 4 four to 8 eight digits.

  14. In the Super password field (9), you can set a super password for , enter the super password that can be used to open this door. The super password consists must consist of 4 four to 8 eight digits.

    Duress Codecode and Super password shall not match password must be different from each other or and from the authentication password.


  15. In the Dismiss Codecode field (10), you can set a code for turning off all card readers associated with , enter the dismiss code that can be used to disable the card readers of this door. The Dismiss dismiss code must consists of 4 four to 8 eight digits.
  16. Check Set the Locking Door When when it Closed box (11) if checkbox if you want to lock the door has to be locked immediately after its closing it. If the box checkbox is left uncheckedclear, the door will be locked after the Unlock Time interval time time expires (see Step step 6). By default, the checkbox is clear.

  17. Set the Enable first card remain open checkbox Check the Enable First Card Remain Open box (12) if you want to set use the door to first card modemodel. By default, the checkbox is clear.

    Several First Cards You can be set several first cards for one door. The door is will be available for other users with any authorization type only after the first card is swiped only.


  18. From the First Card Modecard model drop-down list (13), select the first card model: Disabled, Normal Open or Authorization.

  19. In the Remain Open Durationopen duration, min field (14), you can set , enter the time interval in minutes during which the door will remain remains open after the first card is read in swiped with the Normal Open mode model. The default value is 10 minutes.
  20. In the Multiauthentication Swipe Time field (15), you can set a time-out interval between access requests in swipe time field, enter the maximum time between card reading/password entry and other authentication methods when using a multiple card configuration (see Setting up multiple Hikvision cards).
  21. Click the Apply button (16) to save your settings.
