By default, Axxon One has only one registered role—admin and one user—root. The root user belongs to the admin role and has permissions to configure all components of the video management system (see Configuring user permissions General information about users).

After you install Axxon One, a dialog window indicating that the installation is complete (see Installation) will be displayed with the following information:

Specify the following default values:

  • Username: root
  • Password: root

When you start the Axxon One Client for the first time (see Starting the Axxon One Clientclient), after authorizing in the system using the root user credentials, you must set a password that meets the requirements (see Configuring the user security Security policy):
