You can set the system to automatically exit log out of the Client and/or lock the Client if the user stays idle is inactive for a pre-determined time, i.e. no signals come from HID certain period of time, that is, there are no signals from input devices (keyboard, mouse, joystick, etc.).
To do sothis, do the following:
- Go to Settings → Options Options (1)→ User Interface (1–2).
- In the Period of inactivity before automatic logout (hh:mm) field field, enter the duration time of user inactivity after which the Client should be quit is logged out (3).
If the field is blank or equals the value is set to 00:00, the Client will not be quit.isn't logged out. - In the Enter a value in the Period of inactivity till automatic application lock (hh:mm) field to set the time interval field, enter the time of user inactivity after which the Client is locked (4). To unlock the Client, the user has to re-loginYou need to go through the authentication procedure again for further work.

- You can lock the Client manually at any time using hotkeys keyboard shortcuts (see see Assigning hot keys, Appendix 6. Hotkeys in Axxon One).
- Click the Apply button.
Configuration of automatic quit logging out and locking of the Client is now complete.
