Event-triggered macros can be launched initiated not only by events of a particular type (see Configuring Filters for Event-driven Macros) see Configuring start conditions), but also by statistical parameters.

A macro can be initiated started by the following parameters reaching pre-defined criteria:

  1. The percentage of used space in Archive usage.
  2. The percentage of used space on a volume.
  3. The percentage of used RAM on a Server.
  4. The percentage of used network bandwidth on a Server.
  5. The percentage of CPU load on a Server.
  6. Disk usage.
  7. Memory usage.
  8. Network usage.
  9. CPU usage.

To configure the start of To set up triggering macros by statistics, do as followsthe following:

  1. Select the desired required parameter from the Start Conditions Start conditions list in the Statistics group.
  2. Enter the parameter definition into the In the Parameter (1) field, set a specific parameter.

    Archive usage

Archive in the following format: hosts/TEST/MultimediaStorage.AliceBlue/MultimediaStorage

    .

    (see Get archive contents)

    Disk usage

TEST@C:\,where TEST is the name of a Server within the Axxon-domain, C:\ is the volume name.

    Important!

Attention You cannot monitor storage capacity of a disk fully allocated for

    Archive.

the archive (see Creating a local archive)

    Memory usage

    (RAM)

The name of a server within the Axxon-domain

    .

    Network usage

The name of a server within the Axxon-domain

    .

    CPU usage

The name of a server within the Axxon-domain

  3. Enter the threshold value into the Value (2) field.
  4. For the Leaving condition, enter the range into the Delta (3) field (see section step 5).
  5. From the Trend (4) list, select a triggering condition for the a trend to start a macro.

    Leaving

    The macro

    is triggered

starts if a parameter value goes out of the specified range [ValueDeltaValue]

    .

    Rising

    The macro

    is triggered

starts if the parameter value exceeds the threshold specified in the Value field

    .

    Falling

    The macro

    is triggered

starts if the parameter value falls behind the threshold specified in the Value field

    .

    Note
    titleAttention!

The triggering conditions are set not for current but for future events. For instancemacro starts only when events that meet the start conditions occur in the future. For example, if the current CPU load usage is 85%, and you set specified the triggering condition to exceeding 80%macro to start when the threshold of 80% is exceeded, the macro will be launched starts only when the CPU load exceeds 80% value threshold of 80% is exceeded next time.

  6. If necessary, you can set several event and/or statistical conditions for triggering macrosto start a macro.
