There are several types of archives in Axxon PSIM:

  1. Video server archive (main archive).
  2. Backup archive.
  3. Videogate archive.
  4. Edge storage archive.

To limit access for Operator to playback the the operator to play back a particular type of archive, do the following: 

  1. In the System settings window, go Go to the Users tab in the System Settings dialog box (1).
  2. In the objects object tree that is below the User permissions button in the Users tab, select an object with the same name as the permissions to be changed (2)in the lower left part of the screen, select the User permissions object (2) corresponding to the operator access permissions that you want to change.
    The settings panel for of the User permissions object is displayed in  object opens on the right part of the System Settings dialog box.
