General Information about Tag&Track Pro
Tag&Track Pro functionality depends on the PTZ mode that is specified in the settings (see Setting PTZ mode for Tag&Track Pro) is a feature for automatic tracking of moving objects using a PTZ camera based on tracking data received from static overview cameras. The system uses one or more overview cameras to detect and track objects. Based on the object's coordinates calculated by the overview camera, the system determines the target and automatically directs the PTZ camera for detailed tracking. The PTZ camera is positioned so that the tracked object is always centered in the frame.
This feature requires the combined use of at least one overview camera and one PTZ camera. An unlimited number of overview cameras can be connected to a single PTZ camera.

If the automatic mode is selected, the PTZ camera tracks all active objects. In this case, the PTZ camera switches focus between each object with the specified switch time.
Info title Note The PTZ camera is positioned so that the moving object is in the center of the frame.
- In the manual mode, the PTZ camera tracks an object only after the object is manually selected in the Surveillance window (left-click the track). If you click anywhere in the Surveillance window of the overview camera that contains no tracks, the PTZ camera stops object tracking and focuses on the specified point.
- If control priority mode is selected, the PTZ camera automatically tracks an object until another object is manually selected for tracking in the Surveillance window. If an object is deselected (by clicking the track again) or if it leaves the PTZ camera FOV, automatic mode is re-activated.
If the PTZ camera is in the manual mode, the operator can control the PTZ device at any time. If the operator doesn't control the PTZ camera (The PTZ Control Panel hidden), then the automatic mode is used.

System configuration for Tag&Track
To use Tag&Track Pro, do the following:
- Arrange cameras so that their fields of view are directed downwards onto the surface (floor, ground) on which objects are moving. This ensures stable and accurate tracking.
- Direct the overview and PTZ cameras that you use in the same direction and position them close to each other. If you position the cameras too far apart from each other, it can lead to different interpretations of the scene and failures in the algorithm operation.
- For all objects from the overview camera, the corresponding pan coordinates (rotation of the camera left and right without change in its position) must be in the range from 0° to 180° or from -180° to 0°.
- Configure the Object tracker or Neural tracker for each of these cameras. You cannot use other detectors. The operation of this feature requires metadata (see Metadata database).
Enable Object tracking in the surveillance window of each selected camera on the layout.
- Connect overview cameras to the PTZ camera and configure calibration (see PTZ).
- Select the control mode of the PTZ camera in the Priority parameter and, if necessary, set the duration of the camera focus on one object in the Switch Frequency parameter (see PTZ).
Using Tag&Track Pro
You can use Tag&Track Pro depending on the control mode of the PTZ camera that you select in the Priority parameter (see PTZ).
Joint operation of Tag&Track Lite and Tag&Track Pro
In some situations, Tag&Track Pro and Tag&Track Lite (see Tag&Track Lite) can run simultaneously.
For example:
You set Tag&Track Pro to Manual mode or User priority mode in the Priority parameter (see PTZ);
You select an object for Tag&Track Lite in the field of view of a camera that is added as an overview camera for Tag&Track Pro (see PTZ).
In this case, both Tag&Track Pro and Tag&Track Lite are enabled, and the following occurs simultaneously:
PTZ camera tracks an object;
the system calculates the camera in the field of view of which the selected object can appear
