General information
You can specify You can set the minimum and maximum object size for detection by specifying numerical values or reference areas on screen. Objects of all sizes beyond the set values will not trigger detection.size of detected objects both numerically and visually. Detector won't generate an event for larger or smaller objects.
Specifying the size of objects numerically
To specify the size of objects numerically, do as followsthe following:
- Select the
- Object tracker object
- .
- In the settings of the Object tracker (see Configuring the Object tracker), specify the values of the parameters:
Parameter Value Description Max. object height 100 Specify the maximum height and width of the detected object as a percentage of the height/width of the frame. The values must be in the range [0.05, 100] Max. object width fields (1), enter the maximum Min. object height
2 Specify the minimum height and width of a detectable the detected object as a percent percentage of the FoV height/width of the frame. The values should must be in the range [0.05, 05; 100] Min. object width
Note title Attention! If you
activate enable the Object calibration parameter in
tracker settings, please note that in this case min/max size of objects is specified in decimeters, not in FoV percentage (see Configure Perspective).- In the Min. object height and Min. object width fields (2), enter the minimum height and width of a detectable object as a percent of the FoV height. The values should be in the range [0,05; 100].
- Click the Apply button.
To set the reference area on screen, do as follows:
the settings of the Object tracker (see Configuring perspective), you must specify the minimum and maximum size of objects in decimeters and not as a percentage of the size of the frame side.
- Click the Apply button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel button.
Specifying the size of objects visually
To specify the size of objects visually, do the following:
- Select the Object tracker.
- Click the Min button and specify the minimum size of a detected object. To do this, move the anchor points of the display area.
- Select the Object tracker object.
- Click the Max button and specify the maximum size of a detected object.
Info title Note - By default, the maximum size is equal to the
whole - frame size
of FoV- , so
the nodes - that anchor points are located in the corners of the frame.
- For convenience of configuration, you can "freeze" the frame. Click the
Apply button.- button. To cancel the action, click this button again.
- If you click the Min and Max buttons again, the display area hides.
Click the Apply button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel button.
Click the min button and set the minimum size of a detectable object. You can do so by dragging and dropping the nodes of the reference area.
