General information

You can specify You can set the minimum and maximum object size for detection by specifying numerical values or reference areas on screen. Objects of all sizes beyond the set values will not trigger detection.size of detected objects both numerically and visually. Detector won't generate an event for larger or smaller objects.

Specifying the size of objects numerically

To specify the size of objects numerically, do as followsthe following:

  23. tracker settings, please note that in this case min/max size of objects is specified in decimeters, not in FoV percentage (see Configure Perspective).
  24. In the Min. object height and Min. object width fields (2), enter the minimum height and width of a detectable object as a percent of the FoV height. The values should be in the range [0,05; 100].
  25.  Click the Apply button.

To set the reference area on screen, do as follows:

  1. the settings of the Object tracker (see Configuring perspective), you must specify the minimum and maximum size of objects in decimeters and not as a percentage of the size of the frame side.

  2. Click the Apply Image Added button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel Image Added button.

Specifying the size of objects visually

To specify the size of objects visually, do the following:

  1. Select the Object tracker.
  2. Click the Min Image Added button and specify the minimum size of a detected object. To do this, move the anchor points of the display area.

  4. Click the min Image Removed button and set the minimum size of a detectable object. You can do so by dragging and dropping the nodes of the reference area.
