To add To create a new map, complete do the following steps:
Do one of the following four actions:
- In the lower-left part of the screen, click the button
(after displaying the map, see Opening and closing the map)- .
- Click the button to open the context menu of the
Layouts Panel - layouts panel and select the Add map item.
In the map context menu (right- layouts panel and select the Add map item.
- Right-click

)- of the map, and from the map context menu, select the Add new map item.

Select a
video camera from the list on the
video camera panel by clicking on it cameras panel with a mouse cursor and, while holding down the mouse button, move the cursor to the empty map background and then release the mouse button.
The action is available if no maps have been created in the system.
Enter In the Name field, enter the name of the map
(1).
Select In the Type field, select what will be used as a map
: an image or geodata from OpenStreetMap (2).- Quit the Client (see Shutting down an Axxon One Client). Open a configuration file AxxonOne.exe.configin a word processor. The file is located in the <Installation Directory of Axxon One>\ bin.
- Find the OpenStreetMap parameters group.
- Set the true value for the Enabled parameter.
- For the ApiKey parameter, enter the received key.
- Save the changes to the file.
- Run the Client (see Starting an Axxon One Client). As a result, it will be possible to use the geodata from OpenStreetMap provider as a map. When used, all requested map fragments will be saved on the computer hard drive, on which Axxon One
(see Vector maps in Axxon One):
- Bitmap or vector image.
- Google:
- Google Hybrid;
- Google Map;
- Google Satellite.
- OpenStreetMap.
If you select the Bitmap or vector image type of the map, click the button next to the Image field, and select a file that will be used as a graphic plan of the protected territory.
Supported formats:Bitmap: PNG, JPG, JPEG, JPE, GIF, BMP.
Vector image: SVG
user interface is running. When the map fragments are reloaded, OpenStreetMap service is not accessed.

If you use a
geo mapsgeomap, in the Address field, enter the address,
or the postal indexzip code, or
OpenStreetMap coordinates (refer to provider's website for details) of the desired location into the Address field, then click the button. Use the geographical coordinates of the required territory on the Google map or OpenStreetMap and click the button. You can scale the map with the scale slider or the mouse
scroll wheel to zoom in and out, and any standard method for map navigation.Select the users who can access the map (4): all users, current user only (Not shared position), selected roles only (5).
- Click the Apply button.

- From the Share map drop-down list, select the users for whom the map will be available:
- Any user.
- Not shared—only for the current user.
- Roles—for the users of the selected roles.
- Click the button. To cancel adding a map, click the button.

Axxon One relies on geodata from OpenStreetMap provider received via Mapbox service.
Creation of a map based on OpenStreetMap geodata provider is limited by default. To create OpenStreetMap maps, you should:
Purchase an OpenStreetMap license for Static Tiles API from MapBox provider: https://www.mapbox.com/pricing/#gltileIn the corresponding field (3), click the button and select the image that will be used as the site plan (if the Raster image map type is selected). The supported formats are png, jpg, jpeg, jpe, gif and bmp.
