Depending on detection tool settings (see Configuring the License plate recognition VT, Configuring the License plate recognition RR), a delay may can occur between the number license plate recognition and the registration of the corresponding event (see Configuring the License Plate Recognition VT, Configuring the License Plate Recognition IV) .

The event is time-stamped with the time of recognition, not registration.

For example, if a car passes the camera at 12:05:00, and the detection tool is set to a 10 sec -second timeout, the event will be is registered at 12:05:10 and the recognition time in the event data will include is 12:05:00 as the time of recognition.

The standard license provides a more than 30-sec second delay between the number license plate recognition and the corresponding event (see see Configuring the License Plate Recognition plate recognition VT).

If you have created any lists of LP lists in your the system, you can program automatic responses (e.g. alarm triggeringfor example, alarm initiation) to LP recognition events related to list's entries (see Configuring vehicle license plate recognition based on the created lists).the recognition of a license plate from a list (see Checking in lists of LPs).
