In the Axxon One structure architecture, the term Resource container refers to the Node that is an instance of the Server services. 

Each Domain object can  can consist of a maximum of 30 Resource container objectscontainers.

To create a Resource container, do the following:

  1. In the required domain Domain, click the Image Modified button and select Resource container.
  2. In the upper Click the Image Added button in the top right corner, click Image Removed.
  3. Enter the Resource container name (1).
  4. Set the archive depth in days (2).
  5. Set the number of cameras to that will be used in the camera group of the Resource container (3).
  6. Set the percentage of recording hours per day (4) during which the video will be recorded to the archive. 100% — permanent recording. 50% — recording for 12 hours a day.
  7. Specify the required cameras resolution (5).
  8. Specify the number of frames per second (6).
  9. Specify the codec (7), it is recommended to use H264.
  10. Specify the required bitrate (8) for data transmission/processing per unit of time.
  11. Select the required detectors, or select None (9).
  12. Click Click the Apply button.

The process of creating a Resource container and a network archive with the Image Modified status will be started, and the will start. The process of creating a network archive will start as well. The size of the network archive will be calculated automatically.

After the process is completed, the status of the Resource container will change to .Image Removed

Image Added

The Number of cameras field displays the information about the created cameras and the maximum number of cameras that can be created. 0 — created cameras. 2 — the maximum number of cameras.

If the limit of the created cameras is exceeded, the Resource container will have the Image Added status.

To view the list of cameras which that belong to a certain Resource container, click Image Removed Image Added.

Image RemovedImage Added

To edit the Resource container information, click Image Removed Image Added.

During the update, the Resource container will have the Image Removed Image Addedstatus. If the update fails, the Resource container returns to the last working state with the Image Removed Image Addedstatus and the error indicator. 

If you failed to create the Resource container failed to be created, it has will have the Image Removedstatus. Click Image Removed to retry the creation. Image Addedstatus. If you hover the mouse cursor over the status, you will see the message with reasons that caused the error. 

To retry to create the Resource container, click Image Added.

Image Added

To delete the Resource container, click Image Removed Image Added. During deletion, the Resource container will have the Image Removed status Image Added status. You cannot delete the Resource container if it is the only Resource container in the Domain,and there are Sites linked to it (see Creating a Site).
