In the Axxon One structure, the term Resource container refers to the Node − an instance of the Server services.
Each Domain object can consist of a maximum of 30 Resource container objects.
To create a Resource container, do the following:
- In the required domain, click the
- In the upper right corner, click .
- Enter the Resource container name (1).
- Set the archive depth in days (2).
- Set the number of cameras to be used in the camera group of the Resource container (3).
- Set the percentage of recording hours per day (4) during which the video will be recorded to the archive. 100% — permanent recording. 50% — recording for 12 hours a day.
- Specify the required cameras resolution (5).
- Specify the number of frames per second (6).
- Specify the codec (7), it is recommended to use H264.
- Specify the required bitrate (8) for data transmission/processing.
- Select the required detectors, or select None (9).
- Click Apply.
The process of creating a Resource container and a network archive with the status will be started, and the size of the network archive will be calculated automatically.
After the process is completed, the status of the Resource container will change to .
To view the list of cameras which belong to a certain Resource container, click
.To edit the Resource container information, click If the update fails, the Resource container returns to the last working state with the status and the error indicator. If the Resource container failed to be created, it has the status. Click to retry the creation.
