To configure an embedded detection tooldetector, do the following:
- Configure a detection tool detector in the web interface of an IP device.
Note title Attention! - The settings of embedded detection tools detectors are described in the official documentation of an IP device.
In order to receive events from an embedded detection tool detector to Axxon One, you must configure the schedule in the web interface of an IP device and select days and time of operation of an embedded detection tooldetector.
- Add an IP device to Axxon One (see Searching, adding, configuring and removing IP devices).
- Configure recording to an archive (see Configuring recording to an archive).
- Create the required embedded detection tool detector (see Configuring detection tools detectors and their sub-toolsdetectors).
- Configure macros to initiate (see Initiating an Initiate alarm in the system) and stop alarms (see Stopping an Stop alarm).
Configuration of an embedded detection tool detector is complete. If necessary, you can change some settings of an embedded detection tool detector in the Axxon One interface.

Settings of an embedded detection tool detector that are displayed in Axxon One depend on an IP device. |
Events from an embedded detection tool detector are displayed in the events feed (see Checking events of a detection tooldetector).
Rules is a special type of embedded detection tool detector based on advanced analytics and Profile M that is used for flexible configuration of each embedded detection tool detector (see Adding the ONVIF Profile M embedded detection tools). You can use it to configure, for example, multiple Embedded motion detection tools detectors with different detection areas and sensitivity on the same IP device.
