If detection tools use GPU decoded for video decoding (see Configuring detection tools), make sure the following hardware requirements are met:

1. For NVIDIA 's graphics cards:GPUs:

   1. CUDA 11.1−11.4.
   2. Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see here).

   3. Compute Capability 3.5−8.5 and above6.

      CUDA is compatible with generations of computers with the following architectures: Kepler (partially), Maxwell, Pascal, Volta, Turing, Ampere (partially) (see CUDA). You can check the GPU's Compute Capability GPU version on the manufacturer's website

   4. Support for CUDA 10.2 or higher.

      Video can be decoded on 2 Nvidia GPU two NVIDIA GPUs at a time.

      
      

2. For the integrated Intel embedded GPUs:

   1. 6th generation CPU or higher. 

   2. Support for the required codec in Quick Sync Video.
