If detection tools use GPU decoded for video decoding (see Configuring detection tools), make sure the following hardware requirements are met:
For NVIDIA 's graphics cards:GPUs:
- CUDA 11.1−11.4.
- Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see here).
Compute Capability 3.5−8.5 and above6.
Infonote title NoteAttention! Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see https://developer.nvidia.com/video-encode-and-decode-gpu-support-matrix-new).
Note title Attention! - CUDA is compatible with generations of computers with the following architectures: Kepler (partially), Maxwell, Pascal, Volta, Turing, Ampere (partially) (see CUDA).
- You can check
- Compute Capability GPU version on the manufacturer's
Support for CUDA 10.2 or higher.
- website.
- When using NVIDIA GPUs, it is recommended to install the latest driver from the official website.
- Video can be decoded on
- two NVIDIA GPUs at a time.
For the integrated Intel embedded GPUs:
6th generation CPU or higher.
Support for the required codec in Quick Sync Video.
