General information

You can specify the specify the minimum and maximum size of detected objects both numerically and visually. Detection tool Detector won't generate an event for larger or smaller objects.

Specifying the size of objects numerically

To specify the size of objects numerically, do the following:

  1. Select the Object
  2. Tracker
  3. tracker.
  4. In the settings of the Object
  5. Tracker 
  6. tracker (see Configuring the Object tracker), specify the values of the parameters:

  7. Tracker
  8. tracker (see Configuring perspective), you must specify the minimum and maximum size of objects in decimeters and not as a percentage of the size of the frame side.

  9. Click the Apply Image Modified button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel Image Modified button.

Specifying the size of objects visually

To specify the size of objects visually, do the following:

  1. Select the Object
  2. Tracker
  3. tracker.
  4. Click the Min Image Modified button and specify the minimum size of a detected object. To do this, move the anchor points of the display area.

  5. Click the Max Image Modified button and specify the maximum size of a detected object.

    • By default, the maximum size is equal to the frame size, so that anchor points are located in the corners of the frame.
    • For convenience of configuration, you can "freeze" the frame. Click

    • the Image Modified button. To cancel the action, click this button again.
    • If you click the Min Image Modified and Max Image Modified buttons again, the display area hides.
  7. Click the Apply Image Modified button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel Image Modified button.

Configuration of the minimum and maximum size of detected objects is complete. The size of objects are specified for all its detection sub-toolsdetectors.
