To create the People counter detector, do the following:

  1. Create the Human pose detector (see Configuring the Human pose detector).
  2. Below the Human pose detector, click Create…  People counter.

People counter The People counter detection tool counts the number of people in the specified area using the pose detection metadata.metadata of the Human pose detector.

An event, on the basis of which a macro can be started (see Configuring start conditions), can be generated if the number of people in the frame meets the specified conditionsA macro triggers when the number of individuals in FOV matches the predefined conditions (see Configuring filters for event-driven macros).

Configuration of the People counter is complete.

In the Surveillance window on the layout next to the counter icon, you can add text and the number of people counted by the detector (see Displaying the number of detected objects).

Configuring the People counter detection tool is complete. 

To display the number of counted people in the layout editing mode (see Switching to layout editing mode), you need to place the counter icon anywhere within the layout cell and save the layout. As a result, the number of people counted by the detection tool will be displayed next to the counter icon.
