If detection tools use GPU for video decoding (see Configuring detection tools), make sure the following hardware requirements are met:
For NVIDIA graphics cardsGPUs:
- CUDA 11.1 − 111−11.4.
- Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see here).
Compute Capability 3.5 − 85−8.6.
Note title Attention! info- CUDA is compatible with generations of computers with the following architectures: Kepler (partially), Maxwell, Pascal, Volta, Turing, Ampere (partially) (see CUDA).
title Note - You can check Compute Capability GPU version on the manufacturer's website.
Note title Attention! Note title Attention!- When using NVIDIA
- GPUs, it is recommended to install the latest driver from the
Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see https://developer.nvidia.com/video-encode-and-decode-gpu-support-matrix-new).
- Video can be decoded on two NVIDIA GPUs at a time.
For the integrated Intel GPUs:
6th generation CPU or higher.
Support for the required codec in Quick Sync Video.
