The Perspective configuration enhances detection tools the performance and helps evaluate real sizes of the detectors and allows you to estimate the real size of objects based on a simplified calibration system.

If Correct operation of object calibration isn't possible if you use video cameras a camera with strong perspective distortion (for example, fisheye), then object calibration will work incorrectly. |
To configure the perspective, do the following:
Select the Object tracker
object..
- In the settings of the Object tracker (see Configuring the Object tracker):
- Select the Yes
in - value for the Object calibration
option (1).- parameter.
- In
the - the Leveling rod height
field (2)- parameter, enter the
height - height of the calibration object on the video image in decimeters.
Click - In the preview window, click the button in the preview window
- . Set
- Visually specify the size of the same object in different areas
- parts of the field of view
- frame:
To create a
calibration leveling rod, add two anchor points by left-clicking
on the video image.
Set at least three
calibration rods which leveling rods. The lower anchor points of any three rods must not be located on the same line (horizontal, vertical, slanting, and so on).
You can resize the rod by stretching its anchor
points points , and move it on screen using drag-and-drop.
Rods must be exactly the same size as the object, which serves as a template for a leveling rod. For example, a person's height can serve as a template:
Note title Attention!
Meet When you configure leveling rods, the following requirements
when configuring the calibration rodsmust be met:
- rods
should - must be evenly distributed throughout the frame: the larger
the - area they cover, the more accurate the calibration;
- rods that are equally distant from the camera lens must be the same size;
- all bases of the rods must be on the same plane (for example,
the - floor)
;a rod should be exactly the same size as the object, which serves as a template for the calibration rod- ;
- in complex scenes,
it is recommended to add - we recommend adding more than three rods, but no more than 10-15 rods per frame.
Info title Note - For
your - convenience of configuration, you can
click the button to - "freeze" the
video - frame
and configure the perspective on a still snapshot. To undo- . Click the button. To cancel the action, click this button again.
- To delete
the calibration - a rod, click
the - the button.
- Click the Apply button . To cancel the changes, click the Cancel button.
Perspective is now configured.
