Creating and configuring the Speaker object

The Speaker object is an audio playback device.

The Speaker object is registered under the Playback card object in the Hardware tab in the System settings dialog box.

To configure the Speaker object, do the following:

1.  Go to the setting panel of the Speaker object.
    
2. Select the coding format of reproductible audio signal in the Codec dropdown list (1).
3. Select channel number of speaker connection in sound card from the list of the same name (2).
4. To save the changes click the Apply button (3).

5. Select the Operator’s speacker: object from the list on the settings panel of the Computer object.
   

   Note.

    Several Speaker objects can be configured in the system. When the speaker is changed over using the Operator’s speaker list, then Intellect is to be restarted on the computer where it is in use.
6. Click the Apply button.

The Speaker object is now configured.
