Add image to the face database

To add image to the face database, do the following:

1. Load (see the Load image to the face database section) or add (see the Add detected faces to the face database section) the required image.
   
2. Enter the required data about person in the Last name, Name, Patronymic, Department and Comment fields, if they were not filled in automatically (see the Load image to the face database section) (1).
3. To create the user in the Intellect database click the corresponding checkbox (2).
4. Click the Save button (3).

To interrupt adding of image to the face database click the Close button.

If there are several faces on the added image, they are framed with a red frame and the Save button is disabled. To add a person to the database left-click on on of the framed faces.

Icon or can be displayed to the right of the image.

The icon means that a face is detected on the image and can be added to the DB.

When the icon is displayed, the Save button is disabled and a face cannot be added to the DB. This can be caused by one of the following reasons:

• Face database editing is not enabled (see Administrator's Guide , the Activating the reference face database editing section).
• The recognition module is not activated (see Administrator's Guide, the Activation of the recognition module in the Face Intellect software section).
• There is no connection with a Face recognition server.

All images added to the face database are listed in the Found faces in database tab.

Similarity level of added image with existed in the face database is specified in the Similarity level column. If value of similarity level for image will be more than value of the Minimum similarity for identification parameter, than percent of similarity and name of corresponding person from the database will be dispalayed on the adding image.
