The internal video Server database contains the following information:
- system settings (objects created in the system, their attributes, users and user rights and other additional data);
- events registered by the system within the period specified at the system configuration stage (event logs).
The internal video Server database is maintained in the MS SQL format. The list of MS SQL Server versions, supported by Intellect, is given in the table below.
MS SQL Server version | Supportes edition |
MS SQL Server 2008 R2 – see http://www.microsoft.com
| Enterprise Edition (Restrictions– maximum number of processors and memory capacity, supported by OS) |
Developer Edition (Restrictions– maximum number of processors and memory capacity, supported by OS)
Standard Edition (Restrictions - 4 supported processors; maximum memory capacity, supported by OS)
Express Edition (Restrictions- 1 supported processor, maximum database size -10 Gb)

Note.
Note.
Attention!
Information about the objects, settings of the digital video surveillance and audio monitoring system and event logs can be automatically replicated from the video Server database to the databases of all other video Servers of the system. Communication between full featured program kernels of INTELLECT system is supported by the TCP/IP environment (if the system configuration defines certain program kernels, between which communication is to be provided).
Information about system objects and their settings is initially stored to the database of the video Server where the objects belong to. Replication is initiated automatically whenever data is changed, the kernel is launched or communication is restored.
Replication is used to create a common event environment within the distributed digital video surveillance system. Replication is a hidden process for the user.
