To select the events that are to be logged in the Events viewer interface object, do the following:
- Go to the Filters tab on the settings panel of the Event viewer object (1).
Set filter name in the Name field (2).
Note.
By default Filter1, Filter2, etc. are created. To add a new filter select the end line in the list of filters and click the “down” key on the keyboard.
In the drop-down list of the Type column in the Objects tab select the type of an object for which the required event may be logged (5). If the field is empty, the Events viewer will display all the events for all the objects in the system.

Activation of the drop-down list in the Objects tab and in the Areas list is made by LMC upon the corresponding cell. Detailed description of actions with tabs and lists is in the Object settings panel.Important!
A blank filter (i.e. filter with blank columns) is to be created in order to display all events for all objects in the system in the Event viewer. All events are also displayed in the Event viewer when there is no filter at all.
- In the drop-down list of the Number column in the Objects tab specify the ID for an object of the type selected in step 1(6). If the field is empty, the interface Events viewer will log all the events of the specified type.
- Object name is set automatically on the basis of the values selected in step 1-2 and displayed in the Number column of the Objects tab (7). You can not edit the Name column.
- In the drop-down list of the Event column of the Objects tab specify the required event for the selected object in step 1-2 (8). If the field is empty, the interface Events viewer will log all the events of the specified type.
- In the Areas table select the region which object’s events are to be logged (9). If the objects are identified (see step 3) or no region is set, then the events are logged without object’s belonging to any region.
- Select the color of message backround in the Color dropdown list in the Event viewer box (10).
Select the color of message text in the Text color dropdown list in the Event viewer box (11).
Repeat steps 3-9 for all required objects and sections in the filter.
- Repeat steps 2-10 for all required objects and regions.
- Click the Apply button to save all the changes.
Events for logging to the Events viewer interface object are now selected.
