To start up the System settings dialog box follow the next steps:

  1. Display the main control panel on the monitor. For this purpose, drag the mouse cursor to the upper left corner of the monitor.
  2. Click Run and then select System settings in the appearing dropdown menu.

Note.

The System settings item is also available in the menu that appears on clicking the   icon in the Windows notification area (system tray), or by short-time holding the “hot” button F8.

Now you have the System settings dialog box displayed on the monitor.

Note.

The interface of the INTELLECT™ Main Control Panel is given in Appendix 1. Interface.

Attention!

While changing the screen resolution it is necessary to restart the Intellect software for dialog windows correct displaying.

Note.

In case of the System settings dialog window exceeds the bounds of the screen, use one of the following ways to solve this problem:

  1. Set the font size 96 pixels per inch (the screen scale is 100%). To perform this operation, go to the Control panel -> Appearance and personalization -> Settings of screen resolution.
  2. If the first way doesn’t solve the problem, use settings_height and settings_width registry keys and specify the height and width of the System settings dialog window in pixels (see the Registry keys reference guide).

Note.

If captions are displayed incorrectly in the interface because there is no such font in the system, then install the font located in the Redist\Font folder. Information on how to install fonts in Windows can be found at http://windows.microsoft.com/ru-ru/windows-vista/install-or-uninstall-fonts.
