To extract captured or reference faces from the database, do the following:
- Click the Get all servers button to display all the available face recognition servers (1).
- In the Servers: field set the checkboxes next to the face recognition servers that will supply the data (2).
- Specify the date and time of the start and the end of time interval for which data is to be extracted (3).
- In the Mode: drop-down list select the extracted data type:
- Protocols – extract the faces captured by the Face Recognition Server.
- Protocols with engine info – extract the faces captured by a Face Recognition Server adding the name of recognition module in the end of each file.
- Big filesystem – extract a large amount of data from the database. In this case data will be extracted according to special algorithm.
- Persons – extract the reference faces added to the Face Recognition Server database.
- Specify a path to the folder to which the data will be extracted in the Path field (5).
- Click the Run button to extract the data to the folder (6). The total number of faces extracted from the database will be displayed.
The data will be extracted to folders corresponding to the names of video cameras by which the faces were captured.
Two files will be extracted for each captured face – the corresponding vector in .bin format and the image of detected face in .jpg format. The name of each file has the following structure: [date and time] - [ID] - [recognition module].
The faces added to the Face Recognition Server database are loaded to the Path: folder. For each .jpg file with an image of a captured face, a .json file with the same name will be placed in the same folder. The .json file contains the user's full name, department, comment and other data that are taken into account while loading images to the face database (see Face Intellect Operator's Guide, the Load an image to the reference face database section). - Click the Load button to display the time of extraction and the total size of the extracted vectors (7).
