Activate one of the following software modules for license plates recognition:

  1. Arena module
  2. CARMEN-Auto module
  3. CARMEN-Parking module
  4. Auto-Uragan module
  5. VIT module
  6. IntLab-Carriages module
  7. ARH-Carriages module
  8. ARH-Containers module
  9. IntelliVision LPR module
  10. Remote recognition. 

To activate the software module create the same-name object under the LPR channel object.

It is possible to use modules specialized for working on 32 and 64 bits platforms. The following modules are converted to the 64-bits platform: CARMEN-Auto, CARMEN-Parking, ARH-Containers, Remote recognition, Traffic violations detection, IntLab-Carriages, IntelliVision and VIT. To use the 64-bit modules set the Run x64 modules checkbox in the Intellect software package.

Attention!

Modules can operate in 64-bits mode - for this set the Run x64 modules checkbox checked in Intellect. However, simultaneous operation of 32-bits and 64-bits SDK on the same computer is not possible (find details in Configuring of using 64-bits modules).

Note

After creating Arena module, CARMEN-Parking, CARMEN-Auto, Auto-Uragan module, VIT module, IntelliVision LPR module and IntLab-Carriages objects they are to be configured. There is no need to configure ARH-Containers module, ARH-Carriages module or Remote recognition objects.

Attention!

Install additional software from the vendor web-site for proper operation of the ARH-Carriages software module. Install the Wagon code recognition engine for proper operation of the IntLab-Carriages software module.

Attention!

It is possible to activate only one CARMEN-Parking module on one Server if electronic protection key for one channel is used or two CARMEN-Parking modules if electronic protection key for two channels is used. Using of several electronic protection keys for CARMEN-Parking on one computer is forbidden!

Select one of the options while configuring the system with three or more CARMEN-Parking software modules:

  1. Activate one or two CARMEN-Parking software modules at a time on several Servers (electronic protection key for each module with specifyed number of channels is necessary).
  2. Use the CARMEN-Auto software module instead of CARMEN-Parking software module. The number of recognition modules for one Server is restricted only by the system capacity for the CARMEN-Auto software module.

Attention!

Do the following for CARMEN module operation if the CARMEN 7.3 protection key is in use:

  1. Make sure that "KB3033929" and Hotfix updates are applied.
  2. If Carmen GX drivers are installed, then they are to be removed from the Windows Programs and Components on the Control Panel. 
  3. Make sure that there aren't any folders with drivers at  C:\Windows\System32\DRVSTORE\ (if there are folders, they are to be removed).
  4. Restart the virtual computer.

  5. Go to http://www.axxonsoft.com/resources/downloads.php and download SDK Carmen Freeflow 7.3.1 from the Auto-Intellect recognition engines section and install it.
