Authorization on the Web-server home page

Access to the Web-server home page is restricted  by an HTTP user authorization algorithm.

A user can be authorized by any of the passwords registered for the Intellect users. No additional authorization setup for Web-server HTTP server is required.

To authorize users with blank passwords, you need to change the LimitBlankPasswordUse registry key to 0 (for detailed description, refer to Working with Windows Registry) on the PC where the Web Server is located. You can find the LimitBlankPasswordUse key in the following registry branch:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\

Access to viewing the video feed from the cameras and controlling the cameras, sensors and motion devices is restricted according to the Web-server-related settings of the videoserver.
