The Intellect PSIM is capable of perspective correction (dewarping) in the Video Surveillance Monitor as well as in all camera windows opened through other interfaces, for instance,

• through the Event Log (refer to Event control via event log),

• during search by captions (refer to Search in the captions database), etc.

Conversion of video from fisheye cameras when displaying it on the video surveillance monitor is possible in Intellect. The conversion type is selected when adding a camera to the Monitor (see Selecting and configuring video cameras). To use this feature specify the lens type and fish eye camera location when configuring it in Intellect:

  1. Go to the Additional settings tab on the settings panel of the Camera object corresponding to the fisheye camera (1).
  2. Select the Standard fisheye lens value in the Lens type dropdown list if this is a fish eye camera (2). If a camera with anamorphic lens is in use, then select its type in this dropdown list.
With some settings there can be some artifacts at the top of video for a standard fisheye lens. If there are such artifacts , then select the Autocalibration in this dropdown list.

    Important!

Video will be calibrated every time the settings are applied.
  3. In the Camera location dropdown list select the value corresponding to the camera (3).
  4. Click the Apply button (4).

The fisheye camera is now configured.
