The computer and operating system requirements for the modules that are part the Intellect Detector pack correspond to the same requirements for that of Intellect (see Intellect Administrator's Guide). However, some software modules have different requirements, which are listed below.
Note
Each software module automatically determines, which computing resources it can use: either the central processing unit (CPU) or the graphic processing unit (GPU). For the Neurotracker software module, you can manually select the CPU or GPU, or use the automatic mode.
The Neurotracker software module
The neurotraker hardware requirements:
- Only NVidia GPUs are supported. Video cards from other manufacturers are not supported.
However, the CPU resources and Movidius can be used for the neural network filter. For the neurotraker, it is recommended to use only the GPU. - NVidia GeForce GT 730 or newer video card. Requirements:
- at least 2 GB of memory;
Compute Capability 3.0 and up.
Note
You can check the version of Compute Capability video card on the manufacturer's page.
Attention!
Each neurotracker uses about 400 MB of video memory. If you use using several neurotrackers which in total consume more video memory than is available in the system, an error will occur. In cases when there is not enough video memory, it is recommended to use several video cards in one system.
