You can remove leading zeros in the room code and in the access card number when saving the card, which will exclude the possibility of creating duplicate access cards (see Manual input of access card number).

Note

For example, if removing leading nulls is disabled, then cards 012.0345 and 12.345 will be considered different.

Removing leading nulls in access cards is configured as follows:

  1. Go to the the Others tab (1) on the settings panel of the Access Manager object.
  2. Set the Remove leading nulls before card saving checkbox (2).
  3. Click the Apply button (3) to save the settings.

Removing leading nulls in access cards is now configured.
