General requirements for base computers and operating system
The requirements for the base computers and operating system for Auto Intellect correspond to the same requirements for the Intellect (see Intellect Administrator's Guide).
Important!
When using Carmen 7.3 in Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008, the following requirements are to be met:
- KB3033929 security update;
- Hotfix;
- Carmen Freeflow SDK from Auto-Intellect recognition engines. If an older version of Carmen Freeflow SDK is installed, then it is to be removed before installing a newer one.
Hardware and software requirements for neural analytics
The software modules that use neural analytics (see General information on Neural analytics) have the following software and hardware platform requirements:
The neural network analytics supports the following devices: CPU, GPU (NVIDIA discrete GPUs, integrated Intel GPUs). Due to the NVIDIA SDK specific features, the neural analytics can operate on NVIDIA GPUs only on Windows Server 2019 OS and Windows 10 OS.
- If CPU or Intel GPU is used for the neural network analytics operation, keep in mind that the following processors are supported: Intel Core generation 6 and later, Intel Xeon and Intel Pentium® processors N4200/5, N3350/5 or N3450/5 with Intel® HD Graphics https://software.intel.com/en-us/openvino-toolkit/hardware.
- NVIDIA GeForce 1050 Ti GPU or newer. GPU requirements:
- at least 2 GB of memory;
Compute Capability 3.0 or higher.
Note.
Please check the GPU's Compute Capability version on the manufacturer's web site.
Attention!
When using NVidia graphics cards, it is recommended to install the latest driver from the NVidia official web site.
A single neural network consumes 500 MB of video memory. You can use multiple video cards in your system.
Attention!
To ensure the correct operation of each software module that uses neural analytics, the video image requirements should also be met (see Configuring the program modules).
