By default, no events are displayed in the Incident manager. It is necessary to explicitly specify the objects, the events from which should be received and processed. To do this:
- Go to the settings panel of the Incident manager object.
- In the Objects table, specify the objects, the events from which should be received and processed. If no objects are selected, no events will be displayed in the Incident manager.
From the list in the Type column, select the object type (1).
Note
Only those object types are available for selection for which the value "INFORMATION" or "ALARM" is selected on the Events tab in the Processing messages column in the ddi.exe utility (see The Events tab).
- From the list in the Number column, select the object identification number (2). If the object number is not specified, events from all objects of the specified type will be logged. After you select the object type and number, the Name field (3) will be automatically filled in with the object name.
- From the list in the Event type column, select the events to be displayed in the Incident manager (4). If the event type is not specified, all events of the selected object will be sent to the module.
- In the Logic field, enter the name of the logic that will be used to process the events of the selected object (5). Any name can be specified. Logics are configured in the next step (see Configuring event processing logic in the Incident Manager).
- In the Priority field, enter the priority number for the events of the selected object (6, see Setting the priority of events in the Incident manager). The priority can be used by the operator to sort the events. If no priority is selected, priority number 0 will be used.
Repeat the actions described in step 2 for all required objects.
Note
To add a row to the table, select the last row and press the ↓ key on the keyboard. To delete rows from the table, use the Ctrl + Del key combination.
- Click the Apply button.
