Incident manager

Purpose

The Incident manager is designed for processing events and generating reports.

Functions

The Incident manager provides the following features:

1. Event handling according to a pre-configured script.
2. Automatic execution of macros that are triggered by certain operator actions.
3. Generation of a report on the event and operator actions.

Interface description

The Incident manager interface is shown in the figure:

The Incident manager interface consists of two parts:

1. Table with a list of events.
2. Event handling interface.

The following information is displayed for each event:

1. Status.
2. Object type.
3. Object ID.
4. Object name.
5. Event description.
6. Time.
7. Priority.

The report is built on the basis of the operator's actions during event processing. Typically, the report will be opened after completing the entire chain of actions.

To go to the report at any time, click the Extra button.

To print a report, click the  button, to save a report, click  and select one of the acceptable formats: XLS, PDF or DOC.
