To configure filtering and grouping of events in the Incident manager, do the following:
- Go to the settings panel of the Incident manager object and select the Group by tab.
- In the Filtering drop-down list (1), select the event filtering option for the Incident manager interface:
- by operator — the operator can choose the filtering method in the Incident manager interface.
- by default — the event filtering is disabled.
- by region — the events are filtered by region.
- by event — the events are filtered by event type.
- by object — the events are filtered by object.
- Set the Process all filtered checkbox (2) if it is necessary to block events in a filtered group for processing by other operators in case if one operator has already started processing an event from the group. When the checkbox is set, all events of the filtered group, including new incoming events, will be available for processing by only one operator until he finishes processing all the events of the group. Other operators will not be able to take events from this filter for processing — when they try to do that, the warning message "Group is blocked" will be displayed.
- Set the Close all filtered checkbox (3) if it is necessary to close all events of the filtered group after processing one of the events of this group.
- From the Grouping in list drop-down list (4), select the event grouping option:
- no grouping - all events will be displayed in the event display window without grouping. If filtering is set, then all events of the selected filter will be displayed.
- by event - the events will be grouped by object type / object ID / event type / logic ID.
- Set the Show only first event in the group. Close others without processing checkbox (5), it is necessary to show only the first event from the group and close the rest of the events without processing after the first event is processed.
- Click the Apply button (6).
