The Event Counter object has no separate interface object for data input/output, thus it is used together with other objects. Usually, macros are used to control the counters.
Figures below show an example of using a counter in a macro.
The counter issues a notification (sends a “SIGNAL_POINT (Data collected)” message in any of the following cases: camera 1 blocked, camera 2 blocked, camera 1 connection lost, unauthorized access attempt, the number of access attempts exceeded the limit. If the Access Abuse Control macro is active at the moment of the counter notification, video recording automatically starts on cameras 1 and 2.
Note.
The macros are described in detail in the Creating and using macros section.
