The figure shows the overall view of the Monitor window.
The Monitor contains video tiles and the toolbar which includes the following elements:
Each video tile includes the video image area superimposed with the captions display area. Besides, a functional menu opens for each video tile to allow you to access various system functions.
When one of the Debug 1, 2, 3, modes is enabled, current video characteristics (FPS, Bitrate, Resolution) are displayed in the field
. If the Debug mode is disabled, current date and time are displayed in the field .To open the menu, click the camera number in the lower left corner of the video tile.
The table describes the keyboard shortcuts available for the Monitor and video tiles.
Shortcut | Action | Description |
0 .. 9 Numpad | Select current video tile | Numerals correspond to video tile numbers. To select a two-digit number, press two keys in quick succession. |
F1 .. F8 | Select the number of video tiles in the Monitor | F1 – 1 tile. F2 – 4 tiles. F3 – 9 tiles. F4 – 16 tiles, etc. |
Ctrl + R Ctrl + T | Video recording control | Ctrl + R – start recording, Ctrl + T – stop recording. |
Shift + LeftClick/RightClick | Scale video image | Shift + LeftClick – zoom in. Shift + RightClick – zoom out. |
Tab | Switch current tile to archive mode and back | Please refer to the Axxon PSIM. Operator’s Guide document. |
Ctrl + “/” Ctrl + Spacebar Ctrl + * Left/Right | Archive playback control | Ctrl + “/” – play. Ctrl + Spacebar – stop. Ctrl + * – pause. Left/Right – previous/next frame (in pause mode). |
Ctrl + A/D | Arm the camera | Ctrl + A – Arm the camera. Ctrl + D – Disarm the camera. |
Ctrl + E/P | Individual frame operations | Ctrl + E – export (save) the frame. Ctrl + P – print the frame. |
Ctrl + W | Increase image contrast | Set maximum contrast. Press the same shortcut to restore normal contrast. |
Ctrl + S Ctrl + H | Set camera mask | Ctrl + S – display the camera mask. Ctrl + H – hide the camera mask. Please refer to the Axxon PSIM. Operator’s Guide document. |
