The Web-server object is used for viewing the video surveillance information from an Internet browser and TCP/IP communication environment. The settings panel of the Web-server object is shown in figure.
Basic settings tab
List of cameras tab
Table describes the parameters of the settings corresponding to the elements of the settings panel of the Web-server object.
№ | Parameter | Method for setting the parameter value | Parameter description | Symbols used | Default value | Value range |
1 | Identification number* | Automatically | Displays the identification number of the Web-server object in the digital distributed video surveillance system. | Sequence of numbers | - | From 1 and above. Depends on the number of the Web-server objects in the digital distributed video surveillance system. |
2 | Name* | Type-in the value in the field | Sets the name of the Web-server object in the digital distributed video surveillance system. | Latin, Cyrillic and service characters | Web- server | A line containing a sequence of any symbols (letters, digits, service characters apart from > and < symbols), not case-sensitive Number of symbols – from 1 to 60. |
3 | Disable | Checkbox | Sets the state of the Web-server object (enabled or disabled) in the digital distributed video surveillance system. | Boolean type | No | Yes – the Web-server object is disabled and is not in use No – the Web-server object is enabled and is in use |
4 | Computer | Selected in the list | Sets the parent Computer object of the digital distributed video surveillance system, to which the given Web- server object refers. | Name of the Computer objects registered in the system | Name of the parent Computer object | Depends on the number of the Computer objects in the digital distributed video surveillance system |
The HTTP-server group | ||||||
5 | Port’s number | Type-in the value in the field | Sets the number of the port used by the HTTP server (for video surveillance with the Web-browser via the Internet). | Sequence of numbers | 80 | Any allowable port numbers which are not in use. The number of ports is defined by the system administrator. |
6 | Amount of connections | Type-in the value in the field | Sets the maximum allowable number of connections to the video server via the Web-server module. Each request to view the camera feed and each request to control all PTZ devices is considered as a user connection. | pcs | 100 | Any integer. In the case where 0 value is specified, video signals will not be displayed on the Web-server monitor. |
Without a group | ||||||
7 | Default user | Selected in the list | Sets the user with rights and authorities to conduct video surveillance from the Remote Workstation via the Web-server | The names of users registered in the system and added to the rights | Not set | Depends on the number of users registered in INTELLECT™ |
8 | ECHD translation | Set the checkbox | Enables http requests used for integration with ECHD. | Boolean type | No | Yes – requests used for integration with ECHD are performed for the Camera objects under which the ECHD channel objects are created. No – requests used for integration with ECHD are not performed. |
9 | RTSP-server | Select value from the list | Sets rtsp server to process ECHD requests | Names of rtsp Server objects registered in the system | Not set | Depends on the number of rtsp Server objects in distributed digital surveillance system. |
10 | Use NAT address | Set the checkbox | Enables router address substitution in ECHD requests | Boolean type | No | Yes – when requesting the URL of streams through the HTTP API, the IP address of the router specified in the settings panel of the RTSP Server object is substituted in response to the request. No – when requesting the URL of streams through the HTTP API, the IP address of the Server in its local network is returned in response to the request. |
The HTTPS server group | ||||||
11 | HTTPS protocol | Set checkbox | Enabling HTTPS protocol when transferring data via Web-server. | Boolean type | No | Yes – HTTPS protocol is in use. No – HTTPS protocol is not in use. |
12 | Key | Enter the value in the field | Key for data communication via HTTPS protocol. | Latin, Cyrillic letters and service characters | C:\Program Files (x86)\ Intellect\Modules\SSL\ssl_itv.key | Depends on the location of data encryption key when transferring data via HTTPS protocol. |
13 | Certificate | Enter the value in the field | Certificate for data communication via HTTPS protocol. | Latin, Cyrillic letters and service characters | C:\Program Files (x86)\Intellect\Modules\SSL\ssl_itv.cert | Depends on the location of certificate file when transferring data via HTTPS protocol. |
14 | Port number | Enter the value in the field | Sets the number of the port used for HTTPS server (used for video surveillance in the web browser and in the Internet). | Natural number series | 443 | Any allowable port numbers that are not in use. The number of ports is specified by the system administrator. |
