The Web-server object is used for viewing the video surveillance information from an Internet browser and TCP/IP communication environment. The settings panel of the Web-server object is shown in figure.

Sets the source of archive footage to be displayed in the Web-server interface

Available means to get archive video

Server

Server – archive footage is received from the Server to which the camera is connected.

Videogate – archive footage is received from the Videogate.  If a camera is not configured to transmit footage through the Videogate, then this item is unavailable in the list.

Backup archive – archive footage is received from the Backup archive

Microphone

Specifies the name of microphone associated with the camera from which the sound will be passed through the Web-server

Compressionn

Sets the compression ratio for video transmitted to Remote Workstations via the Web-server module. The higher the compression ratio the worse the video signal is.

Value “1” corresponds to minimum compression ratio, “5” – to maximum.

If the compression ratio is not specified, video signal is transmitted with the same compression ratio as set for recording and  transmitting video
