The Web server 2.0 module is designed for video surveillance on the side of a mobile client application. Detailed information on such applications can be found in the corresponding documents (see AxxonSoft mobile Clients. Documentation).
The Web server 2.0 also provides the following functionality:
- sending to the mobile client video and audio coming from the camera;
- sending to the mobile client video and audio coming from the archive;
- notification the user about the alarms;
- execution of macros;
- sending to the mobile client and processing alarms;
- control of PTZ cameras;
- working with maps;
- sending push notifications to client.
Note.
Push notifications are sent to a client regardless of whether the client is connected to the Server. The Apple server is responsible for delivering notifications. The device on which the client is installed must be connected to the Internet.
The Web-server object are to be created and configured for correct operation of the Web server 2.0 module (see Configuring the videoserver to connect Clients via the Web-server module section).
