Infrared detection tool is used for thermal imagers – infrared cameras. Infrared detection tool detects moving objects within the controlled scene. Detected moving objects are dynamically framed. The motion is detected by calculating gradients between consequent frames.
Note
Note
Note
The detection is performed by key frames. If detection tool configuration process described below does not result in a proper detection quality, i.e. the detection tool does not trigger or triggers with a delay, it is recommended to reduce key frame rate for video camera (see Configuring video compression) or video analytics stream if the camera has multiple streams (see Configuring the multistream video).
To configure Infrared detection tool, do the following:
To enable the auto recording option on an infrared detection tool alarm and generate alarm for the corresponding camera, set the Alarmed checkbox (5).
Note
Note
To disable disarming of the abandoned objects detection tool by any user (irrespectively of his rights), set the Armed always checkbox (6).
Note
Set the Sensitivity slider to the position corresponding to the minimal value of the average brightness of the moving object which triggers the detection tool by its motion (7).
Note
Set the Contrast slider to the position corresponding to the minimal value of the contrast which triggers the detection tool by its motion (8).
Note
Set the Filter slider to the position corresponding to the minimum color threshold of the detected object at which the detector will trigger (9).
Note
Set the Size slider to the position corresponding to minimal size of the object, which triggers the detection tool (10). The size of the object is expressed in fractions relative to the size of the frame. When there is motion of the object which size exceeds the given value, motion detection tool switches to the alarm status.
Note
Infrared detection tool is now configured.
