Adding the Vauban Visor integration module into configuration

To add the Vauban Visor integration module into configuration, do the following:

  1. On the Devices tab, select Add device... link at the end of the Server device list.

  2. Add the device to the system manually using the IP Device Discovery Wizard (see Searching, adding, configuring and removing IP devices):
    1. From the Device type drop-down list, select ACFA device.
    2. From the Vendor drop-down list, select Vauban.

    3. From the Model drop-down list, select VERSO.
    4. Click the image-2024-1-9_11-13-50.png button.

As a result, Vauban Server integration module will be added into configuration and displayed in the hardware tree.

Configuring the Vauban Server object

In order to configure the Vauban Server object of the Vauban Visior integration module, do the following:

  1. Select the Vauban Server object.


  2. Configure the fields listed below.
    FieldDescription
    LoginLogin used for connection with the Vauban server (Visor)
    PasswordPassword used for connection with the Vauban server (Visor)
    Check credentials every [s]Defines how often the server will require a login during communication
    Custom names formatDefines the format of object names that will be set up automatically when the configuration is downloaded
    Event polling timeSpecifies how often Axxon One will poll for events
    Path to the Vauban serverPath for communication with the Vauban server (Visor)
    State polling timeSpecifies how often Axxon One will poll for state changes
    Update existing objects namesEnables overwriting of current object names when downloading the configuration
  3. Click the Apply button to save the settings. 
  4. Click the  button, and from the drop-down list select Download configuration from device.
  5. Click the Apply button.

As a result, all objects defined in the Visor application will be added under Vauban Server object in Axxon One configuration. 

 

Configuring the child objects of the Vauban Server object

In order to configure the Vauban Door object, do the following:

  1. In the Duration of temporary door opening [s] field, set up how long the door should remain open after they are temporarily opened.
  2. Save the changes.

Note

The remaining parameters of the Vauban Controller, Vauban Reader and Vauban door objects are either set up via Vauban VERSO Visor app, or during configuration of Vauban Server object of the Vauban Visior integration module.
