General information
The Activation utility is designed to:
- activate a free license for Axxon One (see Activating the Axxon One free license for Linux OS);
- create a request to activate a paid license (see Activating the Axxon One free license for Linux OS);
- activate a license by distributing a license file (see Activation by applying license file in Linux OS);
- activate a license by distributing a serial number (see Activation with serial number in Linux OS);
- update a license (see Updating Axxon One license in Linux OS);
- deactivate a license (see Deactivating a license in Linux OS);
- save a license file (see Saving the license file in Linux OS);
- change a domain name (see Changing the domain name in Linux OS);
- exclude a server from a domain (see Excluding the current server from a domain in Linux OS).
Launching the utility
To launch the Activation utility, go to the applications menu and click on the LicenseTool utility shortcut.
This will display the Activation utility dialog box:
- In the Server name or IP address field, select one of the domain servers from the drop-down list.
- In the Username field, enter the server user name.
- In the Password field, enter the server user password.
- Click the Next >> button. The user authentication process will start.
After the user authentication process is complete, the main page of the Activation utility will be displayed:
Activation utility is launched.
Closing the utility
To exit the Activation utility, click the
