Axxon One integrates embedded analytics for multiple cameras. You can find analytics in the list of supported devices in the Analytics column.
Camera embedded analytics is the ability to process a video stream directly on the camera to identify specific events or objects. For example, this can include face recognition, motion detection, person or vehicle counting, detection of an entrance or exit area, and so on.
If Axxon One supports the device embedded analytics, you can create detection tools from that camera (see Configuring detectors and their sub-detectors).
Note
- Some devices have interdependent embedded analytics that cannot work together with other detection tools. For example, if Embedded Face Detection is created for a camera in the Axxon One configuration, you can create the Face detector VL for the same camera, but it won't work.
- Some camera manufacturers restrict the use of multiple embedded detection tools at the same time. If such a restriction exists, it won't be displayed in Axxon One. You can create multiple embedded detection tools for one camera, but the functionality of these detection tools can be limited by the manufacturer.
If the camera supports Motion Mask, it is displayed in the preview window when you configure the embedded detection tool. If there is motion, but it doesn't exceed the threshold value (because of the sensitivity parameters of the detection tool), the mask cells are colored green. If there is motion and it generates an event, the cells are colored red.
