The settings panel of the Videogate system object is shown in the figure.

The table describes the setting parameters of the Videogate system object.

Compression

Compressor

Select the value from the list

Sets the algorithm to compress the video stream used to recompress the video signal when transmitting through the Videogate. If the compressor is specified, you should select the value in the Compression drop-down list

If you select compression and don't select Compressor, the Motion Wavelet algorithm is used

Sets the video signal frame rate for transmitting through the Videogate

Critical rate

Sets the minimum permissible rate of the video signal frames arrival to the Videogate to control the transmission of the video signal through the local network

Sets the Videogate object from which the video signal from the selected camera must be transmitted to the given Videogate.

The selected Videogate object must differ from the configured one, otherwise there will be no video transmission via the Videogate
