By default, the operator can remove video archive files.

To prohibit the operator from removing video archive files (from the video server, Backup archive, Videogate, Edge storage), do the following:

  1. In the System settings window, go to the Users tab (1).
  2. In the object tree in the lower left part of the screen, select the User permissions object (2) corresponding to the operator access permissions that you want to change.
    The settings panel of the User permissions object opens on the right.
  3. To prohibit the operator from removing video archive files, clear the Allow removing video archive files checkbox (3).
    Repeat this step for each required type of video archive.
  4. To save the changes in Axxon PSIM, click the Apply button (4).

Note

You can remove video files in one of the following ways:

  1. From the interface of the Video surveillance monitor—see Deleting video recordings from the archive.
  2. Using the ARCH_DEL_RECORD reaction of the CAM object that is executed using the script or program—see CAM Camera.

Prohibition on removing video archive files is complete.
