Limiting access to the tabs of the System settings window

By default, the operator has full access to the administration functions of the system objects on all tabs of the System settings window.

It is possible to prohibit the operator from administering system objects on one or more tabs of the System settings window. In this case, the operator can open the System settings window. 

To prohibit the operator from administering system objects on one or more tabs, do the following:

1. In the System settings window, go to the Users tab (1).
2. In the object tree in the lower left part of the screen, select the User permissions object corresponding to the account of operator permissions that you want to change. The settings panel of the User permissions object opens on the right.
   
   The last five checkboxes in the Configuring group, which have the same names as the tabs, correspond to the permissions to access the tabs in the System settings window. (3).
3. In the Configuring group, clear the checkboxes corresponding to those tabs of the System settings window to which you want to deny access to the operator.
4. Click the Apply button.
