If you use the ONVIF Server module, you can configure user authorization when connecting to it.

There are four types of permissions in the ONVIF specification: Administrator, Operator, User, and Anonymous user (a blank line in the ONVIF drop-down list). Users with the Anonymous user permissions can get data via the ONVIF server without authentication. For the other three types, you must configure the correspondence between user permissions in Axxon PSIM and user permissions in the specification of the ONVIF protocol.

Note

Find details about types of permissions in the ONVIF Core specification at https://www.onvif.org/profiles/specifications/

To configure the Axxon PSIM permissions to work with the ONVIF server, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the User permissions object.
  2. From the ONVIF drop-down list (1), select the type of permissions corresponding to the user permissions in Axxon PSIM.
  3. Click the Apply button (2).

Configuring permissions to work with the ONVIF server is complete.
