What’s new in Axxon One 3.1.0

  1. Added a setting that allows you to enable or disable the display of time on cameras in live mode 
  2. Added display of separate folders for cameras, ACFA devices, and event sources in the Devices tab → Groups 
  3. Added the ability to prevent users from changing passwords themselves 
  4. The Axxon One client is now available in the AppImage format on Linux OS

A number of improvements were made to increase the security level and stability of the system.

Video and audio analytics

The release includes the DetectorPack 3.16.1 (see DetectorPack 3.16.1 Release Notes).

The Axxon One distribution package includes only the basic detectors. It includes the following video and audio detectors:

  1. Detectors:
    1. Motion detector.
    2. Object tracker (without Neural filter).
    3. Video clarity detector.
    4. Audio loss detector.
    5. Noise detector.
    6. Signal detector.
    7. Queue detector.
    8. Visitors counter.
  2. Sub-detectors:
    1. Line crossing.
    2. Loitering in area.
    3. Stop in area.
    4. Motion in area.
    5. Entrance in area.
    6. Exit from area.
    7. Multiple objects.
    8. Move from area to area.
    9. Abandoned object (Object tracker only).

IP device support

The release includes the Drivers Pack 3.91 (see Release Notes Drivers Pack 3.91).

Updating from previous versions

  1. You can update to Axxon One 3.1 from either Axxon One 3.0 or Axxon One 2.0.14. You cannot directly update from previous releases of Axxon One (2.0.2, 2.0.4, 2.0.6, and others) to version 3.1. Examples of the correct update paths:
    • Example 1: 2.0 → 2.0.14 → 3.1.
    • Example 2: 2.0 → 2.0.14 → 3.0 → 3.1.
    • Example 3: 3.0 → 3.1.
  2. After you update from the latest version of Axxon One 2.0 to Axxon One 3.1, the previously configured auto-logon function can require reconfiguration due to a change in the procedure of saving credentials.
