Axxon One 2.0: https://www.axxonsoft.com/support/downloads/axxon-one-vms |
There are some restrictions for updating from Axxon Next to Axxon One:
Axxon Next 4.5.10 uses DetectorPack 3.7.4 (see DetectorPack 3.7.4 Release Notes), while Axxon One uses DetectorPack 3.11.1 (see DetectorPack 3.11.1 Release Notes) that has an updated manufacturer SDK for the Face detector. This means that after the update, the search for previously recognized faces doesn’t work. |
To update from Axxon Next to Axxon One, do the following:
After the backup is complete, check for the backup file in C:\Users\<User name>\Documents\AxxonSoft\Backups. |
Update to Axxon Next 4.6.2.1186 (Windows OS: Update, Linux OS: Updating Axxon Next on Linux OS).
Back up the configuration of Axxon Next 4.6.2.1186 (see Configuration backup). In case you use the Failover system, see Configuration backup and restore for failover VMS.
After the backup is complete, check for the backup file in C:\Users\<User name>\Documents\AxxonSoft\Backups. |
Stop the server (see Windows OS: Shutting down a Server, Linux OS: Starting and stopping the Axxon Next Server in Linux OS) or the NGP_Supervisor service in case you use the Failover system. If there are several servers in the domain, stop them all.
Install Axxon One 2.0 (see Windows OS: Installation, Linux OS: Installing Axxon One in Linux OS).
Restore the configuration of Axxon Next 4.6.2.1186 (see Configuration restore). If you use the Failover system, use the mode Migration (enable if you are using backup from different cluster or want to restore nodes data only) (see Configuration backup and restore for failover VMS).
Restart the server (see Windows OS: Stop the server, Starting the server, Linux OS: Starting and stopping Axxon One in Linux OS).
